H+K Strategies support Kids Company through fundraising and man hours!
On Friday (30th April), over 200 Hill+Knowlton Strategies UK employees left their desks to spend an action-packed day helping children and young people across London with the charity Kids Company.
On the annual charity day, we provided support with a range of activities from decorating and gardening, to music lessons and art workshops, reflecting the wide variety of help that Kids Company provides children and young people everyday.
One of the most significant activities that the H+K Strategies team took part in is ‘Colour a child’s life’, which saw our staff helping to redecorate a family’s home in order to create a happier and healthier environment for their children.
Kids Company was founded in 1996 by Camila Batmanghelidjh with the aim of providing practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people. They provide a vital service, reaching out to 14,500 children across London from deprived and at risk areas, whose parents are unable to care for them due to their own difficulties.
