D2 Healthcare - A Practical Look at Social Communication for the Healthcare Sector

Demystifying Digital (D2) is an ongoing, invitation-only programme which looks at digital tools and their impact and influence on communications presented by Hill+Knowlton Strategies.  It brings together social platforms, interactive communications experts and great case studies together with leading industry figures.

D2 Healthcare will focus on the digital opportunities and challenges facing providers of healthcare products and services. The agenda will aim both to live up to the goal of ‘demystifying’ the latest developments in digital communications and bring insights and experiences directly from patients, professionals and the healthcare industry.

The platforms and people in our programme include:

  • Kai Gait is a global expert on current trends and future opportunities and the former Digital Commerce Marketing Manager at GSK.
  • Google will help us to demystify Google+.
  • Andy Yeoman is the former Business Development Director at Doctors.net.uk and will explore how healthcare professionals are using digital communications.
  • Kantar Health will share research into how patients are using social communication to exchange information and build communities.
  • The workshops will discuss the regulatory environment for digital communications from the perspective of the industry, the regulators and the patient.
  • H+K Strategies will analyse the latest trends in areas such as mobile applications and Facebook.
  • Ignite case studies featuring Pfizer, Osteolink and more.
