We showcased Holiday Inn's changes through the medium of dance
Holiday Inn was in the midst of the biggest relaunch in hospitality history and they challenged H+K Strategies to get customers to re-evaluate their brand. We responded by revitalising their communications – so rather than telling people about the hotel changes, we decided to showcase them through the medium of dance.
We secured Britain’s Got Talent winners, Diversity to choreograph the “Dance Inn” at a Holiday Inn, filmed them in action, and produced a series of compelling video content including a ‘how to’ and a behind the scenes film.
The ‘Dance Inn’ was launched to media and guests with a live performance at the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum. We placed numerous media interviews, and sent the campaign viral by seeding the videos and photography online to media, social networking sites and blogs.
The ‘Dance Inn’ campaign not only sparked huge interest and buzz, with 85,000 online views and 70 pieces of favourable national and consumer coverage, but was also extremely effective, increasing propensity to stay at Holiday Inn by 25%.
