If you had to choose an industry sector that has a clear need to communicate the challenges and change it faces, the energy + industrials sector is surely one of the most dynamic. I am very fortunate to manage this business at Hill+Knowlton Strategies in London with clients including Statoil, Petrobras, Doosan Power Systems, Vale, Linde, DHL and Interpipe. 

With over 20 years’ experience in investment banking, politics and communications, I have worked in traditional and new energy, in mining, and in transport and infrastructure. I have broad experience across corporate communications, financial PR, public affairs and litigation communications and the work has encompassed emerging markets including Russia/CIS, CEE, Africa, India and the Middle East. I have also lived in the US, Russia, Japan and Germany.

I am passionate about helping and preparing companies and governments make their way through a period of dramatic change. The energy and industrials is a sector that demands all forms of communication to be fully utilised so that consumers, businesses, governments, NGOs and media understand the efforts, success and vision of the leaders who drive this fast changing environment forward.
