Taking the Football Fan's Experience to the Next Level
H+K Strategies developed a sponsorship activation programme designed to improve the overall football fan experience across the entire Carling Cup competition, culminating at Wembley Stadium with the Carling Cup Final.
H+K Strategies worked closely with the Football League to on a media outreach programme targeting national, regional, and specifically social media to help drive positive and impactful coverage for the competition.
Alongside the press office, H+K Strategies also oversaw the development of the competition’s visual identity, bringing the brand to life at each game through a series of unique, in-game activities such as using the match day ticket, programme and branding to feature the “Story of the Cup” as told by the fans.
Across the whole Carling Cup competition, H+K Strategies helped to deliver over £5m of media value for Carling, driving attendance figures in excess of 750,000 fans and an average TV audience of nearly 7 million for the Carling Cup Final alone.
