Helping adidas to successfully engage and promote their sponsorship of the NBA 5 United Competition

We helped adidas to successfully engage and promote their sponsorship of the NBA 5 United Competition at the O2 arena with a precursor event held at Larkhall Park, South West London. The event saw adidas NBA symbols Brook Lopez (New Jersey Nets) and Jerryd Bayless (Portland Trail Blazers), take on some of the Capital’s youngest basketballers, showing off some of their most impressive skills and trick shots in the basketball variation of H.O.R.S.E, popular on courts and streets in the UK and around the world. Also in attendance were The Thunder Girls, official cheerleaders of the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA squad, who provided the encouragement and motivation for the players and kids to show off their finest skills and talent. This event enabled adidas to deliver their key messaging aimed at increasing participation in sport in the run-up to 2012, inspiring tomorrow’s athletes by bringing them together with today’s sports stars, creating a brotherhood around the sport.
