Staging the most high profile launch in adidas history

Hosted at the famous London Astoria, H+K Strategies helped in the creation of a spectacular launch event where David Beckham turned up to open the press conference, or did he? In a UK first, H+K Strategies worked with a specialist agency to film David Beckham as a hologram, but it was only when he clicked his fingers and disappeared from the stage that the on watching media realised he was not there in person.  A dramatic display on the pummel horse by Olympic Bronze medalist, Louis Smith, concluded the press conference at which Lord Sebastian Coe was joined by adidas CEO Herbert Hainer to announce the Tier One Sponsorship as Official Sportswear Provider of the Games.

As the announcement was taking place, a number of Olympic sports were being performed across the capital. US 100m record holder Tyson Gay and 200m World Champion Allyson Felix raced across the Millennium Bridge as professional pole vaulters jumped London buses in Horseguard's Parade and BMX star Shaneze Reade showcased her ability on a purpose built track on a barge on the Thames.
