Dominating the media
Having worked with adidas for over 14 years, H&K are well versed in creating publicity for the brand around major sporting events and this proved to be no different.
Using access to adidas sponsored athletes, we created standout imagery that would dominate the media ahead of the first and second tests as well as the start of the One Day Internationals. Following the opening test in Cardiff, adidas opened the doors of their flagship store in London’s Oxford Street and conducted a signing session – followed by a series of media opportunities to increase visibility of the kit in-store.
The Ashes was argubly the pinnacle of the sporting year. England kit supplier and sponsor adidas briefed H&K Sports to activate their sponsorship and increase shirt sales around The Ashes and accompanying One Day Internationals.
