Capitalising on the Chancellor’s 2008 Budget announcement, H&K launched a campaign around the issue of consumer debt to increase awareness of the uSwitch brand and its services.
To add weight to the campaign, we engaged members of the opposition and economists to spark debate around the rise of inflation. You Gov and Research Insight were commissioned to deliver highly credible, concrete statistics and case studies.
The campaign resulted in over 100 pieces of press coverage generating a massive 180 million opportunities-to-see. The Daily Express hailed the findings as “one of the most important pieces of political research for months.” Business impact was demonstrated by a 64% increase in sales for uSwitch the day the story broke.
