Sam Lythgoe / Global Head, Business Development
I have been at Hill+Knowlton Strategies for more than a decade: starting in our technology team, then running one of the firm's biggest accounts before going on to build one of the first Consumer Tech practices back in 2001.
Since 2007 Sam has been Head of Business Development, which means she is lucky enough to sit at the centre of the business and have an aerial view of the agency. Having worked 'account' side enables her to truly listen to a brief and understand the client's needs and then make sure the right team and right efforts are put towards winning it! Having run both global and UK PR campaigns for large and small companies for more than a decade means she understands both business and communications challenges and can give realistic advice.
Sam juggles work alongside being a mother to two young boys and is part of the steering group of H+K's HER (Helping Executives Rise) programme. She was also nominated as part of the Part-Time Power List in 2015.
Sam graduated with a Double Degree: 2.1 Bsc (hons) in International Business and Modern Languages from Aston University and an equivalent MSc in Business with a Sales/Marketing specialisation from the Ecole de Management Strasbourg.
