If you had to choose an industry sector that has a clear need to communicate the challenges and change it faces, the Energy + Industrials sector is surely one of the most dynamic. I am very fortunate to manage this business at Hill+Knowlton Strategies with clients including Statoil, E.ON, SunEdison, DONG Energy, Shell, GE Oil&Gas, Intelligent Energy, Poyry, IOGP, RWE Innogy, RATP Group, The Linde Group, DHL Supply Chain, South Hook Energy, Samruk Kazyna and Hitachi.
In the last four years our practice has gone from strength to strength, doubling in size, with an ever-growing client base. I can honestly say it’s the best team I have ever worked in, and I am proud that others agree – recently the Holmes Report wrote that H+K had arguably the best energy PR consulting team in Europe, and last year we were named BusinessGreen’s ‘Green PR Agency of the Year’. In order to maintain this position our team must keep adapting. Our consulting is high-end and strategic but we are also masters at interpreting and applying data and at leading with bold creative ideas across all channels.
With over 25 years’ experience in investment banking, politics and communications, I have worked in traditional and new energy and across industrial B2B, transport and infrastructure. I have broad experience across corporate communications, financial PR, public affairs and litigation communications and my work has encompassed developed markets and emerging markets including Russia/CIS, CEE, Africa, India and the Middle East. I have also lived in the US, Russia, Japan and Germany.
