Hill & Knowlton has been appointed by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to provide PR support for the first milestone of a global campaign promoting Hong Kong as a financial centre and asset management hub.
Targeting financial services companies and executives, the first milestone in the campaign will be a conference in London on Tuesday 16th November 2010. This will be followed by a conference in New York in the spring.
Commenting on the appointment, Ben Curson, Head of Financial and Professional Services at Hill & Knowlton said: “Hong Kong is already seen as a leading international centre and a gateway to China. Given the shifting of economic and financial gravity to the East, Hong Kong is a natural home for financial services businesses looking to locate in Asia.
Hill & Knowlton has a 20 strong team dedicated to financial and professional services. This plus our strong presence in Hong Kong and experience in promoting international financial centres makes us ideally placed to support the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s campaign.”
