Providing a unique experience for football fans

Carling has been a client of H+K Strategies since 2004. Every year H+K Strategies is challenged to build the profile and credibility of the competition from press accreditation, communication through cleverly executed editorial imagery and by the creation of newsworthy stories that engage the fans of the competition.  

For the 2009 Carling Cup Final (Spurs v Manchester United) H+K Strategies devised a plan that would not only have the fans of both teams interacting with the brand but also communicate this to a much wider audience through TV. Working with the assets that Carling have from the sponsorship, we advised the brand to give up the pitch side perimeter boards that surround the Wembley turf and give fans the opportunity to create their own personalised banners inside the iconic stadium.
