"I found out about Hill & Knowlton through word of mouth. In my third year of University I sent in my CV with the hope of work experience. When I made a follow up phone call, I was reassured by how positive they were about my application for work experience and to my astonishment we set up my placement there and then. As I was in my final year of Uni, I could only really fit in one week of work, but it is amazing how much you can learn in one week. There is no sign of the clichéd endless hours of photocopying or coffee making, from the word go you are grabbed by everyone and are constantly busy. It is the busy yet friendly atmosphere that made me want to apply to the grad scheme. To get on the grad scheme you have to go through various stages, but I was lucky as my work experience had basically been a one week interview in itself."
