Hill & Knowlton is a truly transnational agency. Our 72 offices in 41 countries are not just dots on the map – they are closely connected by our shared culture of serving clients and adapting to their needs.

Our network has expanded fastest where clients need us most, and also in line with changes in the global economy. Today we work with over half of our clients in more than three countries, and for some in more than 20. For many clients, such as SABIC, HP, TomTom and GN Netcom, the lead office is London.

The key to a successful transnational programme is being able to balance the advantages of centralised activities, such as consistency in messaging, with specific local needs. We know, for example, that a fully worked up, one-size-fits-all solution isn’t going to work in places as culturally diverse as France, India, China or Brazil – it needs to allow for flexibility in the local implementation in order to have maximum value. 

By making every effort to accommodate a client’s organisational structure and culture, we are able to roll out a transnational model in a way that will win the hearts and minds of staff, while maintaining strategic direction and efficiencies to deliver better value and greater impact.
